Colle Val D'Elsa è situata nel cuore della Toscana tra Siena, Firenze e Volterra, a pochi chilometri da San Gimignano, Certaldo e le colline del Chianti.
Le sue origini risalgono al periodo Etrusco-Romano ma, mentre la parte bassa della città è sede di importanti attività commerciali e produttive tra le quali risalta, per qualità e tradizione, la lavorazione del cristallo, la parte alta testimonia di un florido passato medievale (Il Castello) e rinascimentale (Il Borgo), con i suoi vicoli ed i suoi palazzi che fanno rivivere al turista un'atmosfera di altri tempi.

Colle Val D'Elsa is located in the art of Tuscany between Siena, Florence and Volterra and is just a few kilometres from San Gimignano, Certaldo and the hills of the Chianti countryside.
It dates back to the Etruscan - Roman period and the lower part of the town is quite well known for its important commercial and productive activities, the most famuos being crystal manufacturing as concerned. The upper part of Colle Val D'Elsa is proof of a flourishing past during the Middle Ages (Il Castello) and the Renaissance period (Il Borgo), with its allies and buildings that make you feel as though you have gone back in time.
